We are a group of ramblers about two hundred strong. We walk at least three times a week, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday and Tuesday evenings in the longer days, with the occasional weekend and holiday walks. Most walks on Saturdays and Wednesdays are about six to eight miles.
On Sundays we usually walk a little farther say ten miles with a pub stop.
We also offer once a month a short stroll of about 4 to 5 miles at a gentle pace, this to be on a Monday, Thursday or Friday. We do longer walks to. Once a month on either a Saturday or Sunday these walks can be more than 15 miles long.
People of any age or any fitness are welcome. Prospective members may join us on one of our walks to try us out, but we would expect them to join at the earliest opportunity should they enjoy what we have to offer.
